Hi Guys, We have a server with a hdd issue. It is showing up as drive O but we can not access it. It seems like the NTFS is corrupt or something. Windows does recgonise there is a drive and labels it but thats about it..how can we recover this?

I think you might need to gather more information about this one and post it... What do the event logs list? Were there any recent software installs? Is the drive internal or USB/Firewire? What does disk manager look like? My guess is that a shot in the dark to resolve it would be to... try and 'chkdsk' the drive or possibly image it to another or finally use a utility like R-tools to recover as much from it as possible

As Datacenter Systems said, please post more info, but from my experience, when you cannot access an hdd, or flash memory on windows, but it shows on the Windows Explorer is because it was corrupted while writing. Very common if you remove a flash device... maybe a power disruption....? post more info on your case
